Country Chalet I & II are seven miles from Lake Chautauqua, here at We Wan Chu Cottages,
out in the middle of the woods, nowhere near the Lake. These two beautiful homes give you access to the most beautiful lakefront cottage resort here at We Wan Chu Cottages.

Country Chalet I & II feature air conditioning, satellite tv and Wi-Fi. Chalet II is now powered by our own 10KW wind turbine generator! The chalets are about 40 feet apart and are located on a total of 26 acres of mostly wooded land, located about 7.5 miles from We Wan Chu Cottages, and 3 miles from Interstate 86 / Route 17 and Exit 8 (Chautauqua Lake Bridge Exit at Stow & Rt. 394). This property has become our own Ponderosa and hope that you enjoy it as much as we do. It is a wooded setting with mostly 2nd growth trees (medium size trees).

Country Chalet I is a one bedroom with a cathedral ceiling living room-kitchen area and has a 10 x 32 foot covered deck with a hammock and 2 ceiling fans. Built new in 1992 with 768 square feet of interior space. Nicely decorated, clean and modern.

Deluxe accommodations include: 1 bedroom with a king-size and one single bed, living room / kitchen area with brick fireplace, sofa bed that opens into a double, ceiling fan, stove, refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, microwave, electric drip coffee maker and toaster. Color tv with antenna, DVD player and a brick fireplace. Tiled stall shower with a seat (no tub) in the single bathroom. Charcoal grill and picnic table. Rental rate is based on 4 people maximum.

Country Chalet II is a two bedroom, cathedral living room-kitchen area and a 11 x 42 foot covered deck with 2 ceiling fans. Built new in 1980 with 1176 square feet of living space plus 1176 square feet of basement / mud room and garage space. Nicely decorated, clean and modern.

Deluxe accommodations include: 2 bedrooms with two double beds in the first bedroom and a king size bed in the master bedroom which has a sliding glass door going out onto the 11 x 42 foot covered wooden deck with a hammock on it. Two bathrooms with a shower in the master bath and a tub/shower in the 2nd bath. Large living room / kitchen area with a cathedral ceiling, couch, love seat, dinning room table, color tv with antenna, DVD player and a large brick fireplace. Stove, refrigerator, pots and pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, microwave, electric drip coffee maker and toaster. Charcoal grill and picnic table. Rental rate is based on 8 people maximum.

RESERVATION AND GUEST POLICIES

RESERVATION POLICY: ½ down payment as a deposit to confirm reservation. Balance is due 45 days prior to check in on all summertime reservations (Memorial Day through Labor Day). Balance due at check in for all Spring and Fall reservations.

2013 CANCELLATION POLICY: Deposit returned after Chalet has been re-rented for the same dates and rates, less (-) $200.00 cancellation fee per Chalet, per week or less. Otherwise, deposits/payment in full forfeited if cottage is not re-rented for the same dates and rental rate.

BOAT SLIP / BOAT TRAILER PARKING POLICY: $10 per boat and trailer per day or $25 per boat and trailer per weekend (3 or 4 days) or $50 per boat and trailer per week for boats up to 21'. Boats over 21' and up to 26' max are $20 per boat and trailer per day or $50 per boat and trailer per weekend (3 or 4 days) or $100 per boat and trailer per week. On land or in the water is the same fee.

DAYTIME GUEST POLICY: Any guest to your Chalet, above and beyond the Chalet's capacity or reservation agreement, will be charged to your account at the Rate of $10.00 plus tax per person per day. We reserve the right to limit the number of guests.

OVERNIGHT GUEST POLICY: Any guest to your Chalet, above and beyond the Chalet's capacity or reservation agreement, past
9 PM for the night, will be charged to your account, at the rate of $75.00 plus tax per person per night. These guest policies are necessary so as not to over crowd our cottages or property. We reserve the right to limit the number of guests.

DRIVEWAY GATE POLICY: Here at We Wan Chu Cottages we have automatic driveway gates. At check in, will issue you the key pad code as well as vehicle tags for your reservation's vehicles. All visitors cars will be charged $5.00 plus tax per car per day for parking (during office hours) as well as any guest fees above and beyond your cottage's capacity or reservation agreement.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: Required on all Weekly and Weekend rentals.
$200.00 Per Chalet.

We reserve the right to change rates without notice as well as pass on any new tax (like a bed tax) imposed on cottage rentals by the County, State or Federal Governments.
